Affiliated Clubs Group Insurance

The insurance facilitated by the RHSV incorporates a Public & Products Liability Insurance and a Volunteer Workers Personal Accident Insurance for Affiliated Clubs of the Royal Horticultural Society of Victoria Inc.

The following policies have been arranged via RHSV’s insurance broker, Trident Insurance Group Pty Ltd (ABN 81 066 347 224, AFSL 237360).

Public & Products Liability

The Public & Products Liability Insurance provides cover for the legal liability of officials and members of an affiliated Club in respect of Personal Injury or Property Damage happening during the period of insurance and caused by an occurrence in connection with official Club activities or products.

Features:

- The period of insurance is for 12 months – 1st July to 30th June

- There is a Liability Limit of $20,000,000 (20 Million), for any one occurrence, unlimited in the aggregate in any one policy period.

- It is Australia wide – it covers all States and Territories

- An Excess of $500 applies to each claim

- Rates are extremely competitive and are based on the Club’s membership numbers

The Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance provides voluntary workers, club directors and committee members with Personal Accident insurance whilst undertaking voluntary work for your club. Cover includes, but not limited to working bees, meetings, fundraisers and charity collections. Volunteers have an important role in your organisation but are not eligible for Workers Compensation. This policy ensures their protection against financial loss if an injury occurs whilst performing voluntary work.
