GARDENER’S DAY OUT 2023 - IT’S BACK, IT CAME and it WENT!

The Gardener’s Day Out returned for 2023 after a 3years gap due to covid. It  was held on Saturday 17 June at Deakin

University Campus, Burwood, VIC. It was a special event and started the celebrations for “The Royal's” 175 years old milestone. It was an

event to celebrate.

Jane Edmanson, Karen Sutherland, Attila Kapitany and Craig Castree came together to form

a fantastic team of presenters. They, along with the great enthusiasm provided by your fellow

gardeners, the plant stalls, and other activities ensured an enjoyable day to remember.

The venue had all the facilities you could want including massive, undercover parking and public

transport access. Just to get out and give COVID the final toss was worth it all.

We are planning for next years' event. We will keep you informed as things progress.

You cannot keep a good gardener down!
