Details: Nestled beside the Sunday Creek within 500 metres of the CLONBINANE interchange on the Hume Freeway 60Kms north of Melbourne you’ll find two very passionate rosarians, Graham and Diana Sargeant at Silkies Rose Farm busy tending their extensive garden and rose nursery. Visitors are invited to wander through the gardens and have a chat about how biodynamic and organic management programs are used to maintain this delightful garden. We recommend visitors coming to Silkies Rose Farm, Clonbinane, stop-off for morning tea / lunch at Magpie & Stump Hotel, Wandong (freeway exit south of Clonbinane) for discounted meals when you mention us. Rose Café, Kilmore is still a lovely destination when you visit this area (03 5782 1511 for bookings) but please note that there are no food/drink facilities at the Rose Farm but we do invite you to bring a picnic and there is a public toilet available.
