Event description: 

The annual HFS Grafting and Tree Sales Day, at CERES at the corner of Stewart Street and Roberts Street in Brunswick, will be on Saturday 1 August from 10am to noon. You're invited to this free event, where you can:

- purchase young pre-grafted fruit trees, ready for planting, from our broad range
- watch and chat with friendly HFS volunteers grafting up new trees - a great opportunity to see how it's done!
- at very low cost, obtain scion (budwood) from many of our hundreds of varieties of apples, plums and other fruits, for you to graft yourself

The annual HFS Grafting and Tree Sales Day at Petty's Orchard, at 1 Monckton Road, Templestowe, will be on Sunday 2 August from 9am to noon. You're invited to this free event, where you can:

- purchase young pre-grafted fruit trees, ready for planting, from our broad range
- watch and chat with friendly HFS volunteers grafting up new trees - a great opportunity to see how it's done!
- at very low cost, obtain scion (budwood) from many of our hundreds of varieties of apples, plums and other fruits, for you to graft yourself
- join a guided walking tour of our heritage fruit tree block (please wear sturdy footgear)
