Details: Awarded the International Garden of excellence by the World federation of Rose Societies in 2003 it was the first Rose Garden outside Europe to receive this award and the only one (at the time). Over 5000 Roses, Modern, Old and Species. Cared for entirely by volunteers. The garden is open 365 days a year. Exceptions when a paid event is being held at the Werribee Mansion (refer to website for details).
