Located on the foothills of Mount Alexander with stunning views across the Sutton Grange Valley to the Great Dividing Range, Mica Grange features outcrops of granite boulders, sweeping lawns, ornamental trees, terraced gardens abundant with roses and perennials set amid dry stone walls. A native shrubbery, rockeries, and protea plantings nestle within outlying granite shelves. A raised vegetable garden and orchard provide organic produce and preserves. Cake and Devonshire Tea and Coffee available.
Mica Grange Spring Open Garden Sculpture Exhibition
Spring is in the air. The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and the scent of roses is everywhere. Yes, it is time to spread your wings and enjoy the beauty of garden, the wonders of art and good food at the Mica Grange Open Garden Sculpture Exhibition.
The spacious gardens are full of creative ideas to enjoy or enhance the beauty of your own garden. There are 15 sculptors exhibiting plus a wide array of garden art, plants and preserves for sale.
Morning tea, light lunches, and afternoon tea are served on the spacious decking overlooking the Sutton Grange valley or around the garden between 10am and 4.30pm. Entry is $9 (children U18 free).
Whether your interest be in traditional gardens, rose walks, proteas, Australian natives, rockeries, vegetable garden, fairy gardens, or simply meandering through beautiful scenery and relaxing with good food, you will find something to spark your imagination at Mica Grange.
