Details: 4 hectare garden established in 1969. Designed on a natural garden framework with elements including taking advantage of natural contours creating rooms in the garden with a surprise as one walks around a corner with new vistas creating interest by changing levels, constructing a water feature, etc. Whole garden is designed to flow from one area to another. From exotic to native, water garden, vegetable/orchard  area and courtyard. Then merge with the indigenous bush. Garden is  surrounded by Warrandyte State Park.
