Details: Northview Park encompasses three acres, planted out mostly with a large variety of Australian natives, some rare and unusual, and also a collection of roses and exotics. This garden is in a very peaceful setting, surrounded by native forest, and features a picturesque dam which is enhanced by native plantings accessed by a path around the embankment. There are both formal and informal areas, landscaped with the use of retaining walls, and planted with a large variety of ground covers and shrubs. A large number of standard grevilleas provide another feature. A garden which is also enjoyed by an abundance of bird life. Several seats in shaded and sheltered locations provide an ideal setting within the garden to enjoy lunch, morning and afternoon teas, all of which can be provided.
