The RHSV is pleased to present the RHSV Gardener's Day Out for 2017.

 

This year there will be three inspiring presenters:

  • Cathy Powers shows how gardeners can be a vital element in monitoring plant movement and diversity in the countryside, Interesting, informative and encouraging participation in gaining knowledge of our environment.
  • Blooming Tasmania brings you a look at Tasmania's unique garden attractions. They have over 60 gardens in Tasmania that are as diverse and interesting as anywhere in Australia. They are on Victoria’s doorstop Just a short boat trip away.
  • The “Gardenettes” command the afternoon featuring three young ladies that have formed a 50’s style approach to gardening and cooking. Chloe Thomson, Melissa King and Dani Venn. Chloe and Melissa are well known gardeners from the Garden Gurus and other media exposure and Dani offers food and cooking with wholehearted seasonal hearty food. Dani was a MasterChef finalist. 

The awards from this year's Great Victorian Hanging Basket Competition will also be presented.

 

Details:

  • Program commences at 9:30am, Saturday 17th June 2017
  • Entry $10. A light lunch is available for an additional $15
    (You must let us know you are coming and if you want lunch. However, you can pay for these at the door.)
  • Plants and goods for sale. Unusual items available
  • FREE Undercover Parking. Public Transport nearby
